Step into the mysteries of Mesopotamia with this unique talisman. Inspired by the ancient Sumerian tablets of the Epic of Gilgamesh considered the earliest written story in human history it embodies the timeless quest for immortality and the secrets of the ancient gods.
Cuneiform is one of the world’s oldest writing systems (around 3300 BC, in Mesopotamia).
It didn’t work like our alphabet:
- It used syllabic signs (e.g., “li,” “na,” “en”) or logograms representing entire words.
- Not all the sounds of our modern languages existed in Sumerian or Akkadian.
- To write a modern name, we make a phonetic adaptation, choosing the closest available syllables.
Example: the name Julien
Phonetic breakdown: Ju-li-en
Possible cuneiform correspondences:
- JU → no “j” sound → approximated with ŠU (𒋗)
- LI → 𒇷 (li)
- EN → 𒂗 (en)
Result in cuneiform signs: 𒋗𒇷𒂗 (Šu-li-en)
This gives a phonetic approximation of the name Julien adapted to the cuneiform writing system.

I am a French artisan, endlessly fascinated by the great enigmas of ancient civilizations. From the pyramids of Egypt to the Nazca lines, these mysteries fuel my inspiration and guide my creations.
In my workshop, I combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques: carefully selected walnut wood, laser engraving, meticulous hand-shaping, 3D-printed details, and crystal-clear resin cast and polished by hand.
Each talisman is a unique piece, born from a ritual of creation where patience and intention matter as much as technique.
My work aims to bring to life objects that are not mere jewelry, but fragments of legend bridges between the legacy of our ancestors and the vastness of the cosmos.
